Job Description

This position will be responsible for creating video and audio/podcast content featuring the story of LILA Games. We will feature the co-founders and employees of LILA Games with content focused on game development topics as well as updates on LILA’s new game projects.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage for publication to YouTube and extract audio for podcasting.
• Extract content from long form interviews for shorter form publication.
• Come up with new ideas for compelling content to expand the audience and interest in LILA Games.
• You will come up with crazy ass ideas that get people excited about game development and about LILA.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience editing videos with Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere.
• Good understanding of the games industry and game development.

Eligibility & Cultural Fit

• Must be willing to relocate to Bangalore, India (likely after 1 year of remote work)

Application Process

1. Resume: Submit your resume to [email protected] (no cover letter necessary). In addition, take an existing video from the GameMakers YouTube channel and extract content to create a video between 10-15 minutes you believe would be compelling to our audience.
2. Written Test: You will receive a written test by email if selected
3. Video Interviews: We will schedule a number of video interviews if selected
4. Offer: If selected, we will send you a formal offer letter including compensation and other logistical details
5. On-boarding: Before joining, we require some reading and a full understanding of our Values & Culture. We will send some tasks and materials to review before you sign your offer letter. We will also agree on an initial 30/60/90 day plan to begin your journey at LILA Games.
6. Begin: We will ship all of your working materials including work computer, monitor, and other accessories for you to start.
